In all service formats, OmniSTAR will work with the client to identify the most appropriate system to provide access to the remote data you require.

The telemetry system(s) to be used for a particular application will be selected based on a number of factors:

• Power available at the remote
• Tolerable delays in receiving the message
• Volume of data to be transmitted

We will normally recommend Satellite for applications where coverage is required over the widest area, whilst GSM is ideal for local solutions.

Different systems can be combined for maximum flexibility and can have their use either prioritised and/or allocated to different messages types.
